Streets of Hope started in 2002 as a soup kitchen that provided a hot meal to boys living and fending for themselves on the streets of Nakuru, Kenya. The boys came, felt safe and didn’t want to return to the streets. They piled into a small sleeping room and it became clear that God had bigger plans than a soup kitchen for Streets of Hope. Streets of Hope now has 3 orphanage sites; Section 58, Naka satellite and Mwariki satellite, as well as a high school, Streams of Hope High School, and cares for the needs of over 100 boys.
Streets of Hope, founded in 2002, is an organization dedicated to providing for the needs of those children of the world who are completely without hope. Our work is primarily devoted to the children that have been forced to fend for themselves on the streets.
Streets of Hope is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All gifts are tax deductible. As a Christian organization, we acknowledge that we are accountable not only to our donors but to God. Donations are used for their intended use and we look for ways to maximize the impact of donations.
